A large late 19th century terrestial globe by Ernst Schotte Berlin. diameter 40cm table globe made up of twelve coloured printed paper gores and two polar calottes, the equator and prime meridian graduated in degrees, the brass meridian circle divided in four quadrants, the octagonal papered horizon delicately coloured and graduated in degrees and days, months with names and for the houses of the Zodiac, raised on a ebonised tripod stand with a baluster turned central pillar, including a compass on the tripod.
